Production and Managerial Students Assist Molloy’s Elf The Musical

Last month LIHSA’s Production & Managerial Arts students visited Molloy to help work the Elf the Musical show.

At LIHSA they constructed a windmill and a cart used as stage scenery in the productions. Students were able view the stage, scenery and some of their own work at the theater.

Michael Garcia of Long Beach learned how to use power tools to create the cart.

Winona Piscitelli of Westbury was excited to have direction from the Molloy Theater department but also room to create something unique. She worked on the electrical part of the windmill and shared that the experience enhanced her critical thinking on how to go about creating it.
