A Closer Look at the AP Artwork of Jennarose

Jennarose is a senior from Carle Place studying visual arts.  Here’s a bit more about her art.

Jennarose is focusing on perspective for her AP art focus.  She’s studying her self-perspective on how she sees the world and others. Jennarose’s AP Art Portfolio features many pieces where you can find Jennarose herself in the image.  The work has been describes as sometimes fantastical or dreamy, other times humorous!

She likes working with most art materials.  She often uses digital mediums because it’s convenient and transportable.  But, she also enjoys acrylic and water colors.  She shared, “Painting’s a different beast than drawing because you can be less detailed.  You can take different colors, mix them and get an impression of something.  I like water colors because they are very loose.  It requires knowledge of shadows and lights.  I like all of them!”
