A Field Trip: Audio Production Students Visit the Javits Center October 2023

Our audio production students recently took a field trip to the Audio Engineering Convention at the Javits Center.

Jack Pezzello, a senior from Plainview/Old Bethpage is studying audio production at LIHSA with ambitions to record his band. He described the event as “It was where a bunch of companies came together to show off their products.”

Joey Toscano, a senior from Levittown shared, “It was pretty fun. I got to see a lot of cool companies and test out their equipment. I enjoyed spending time spending time with my friends I haven’t seen in a while.”

Ayden Alphonso, a junior, is excited to further his career through audio production studies. He really values, “learning and developing different sounds and using them together to create new sounds and better music.”

Ashlee Madden is a junior from Lynbrook South. She is studying audio production at LIHSA because she wanted to learn how music is made. She shared that, “The conference helped me understand my craft to see how much work is put into music, photographs, and news stations.  I could see how everything works.”
