Summer Solstice 2024: Midsummer Nights Event

Three LIHSA students performed at Old Westbury Gardens the weekend of June 21-23, 2024 for the Midsummer Nights event.

Hayden Gardener (Northport-East Northport UFSD), LIHSA Class of 2024 played Acoustic Guitar. Audrey Underberg (Oyster Bay-East Norwich CSD), LIHSA Class of 2024 played Keyboard & Acoustic Guitar.  And Jake Santos (Carle Place UFSD), LIHSA Senior played Alto Saxophone.  The group was chaperoned by Jerry Nobile who coordinated this event and experience for the Performing Arts Music students.

The students performed in three separate gardens providing ambient music while guests of all ages strolled, picnicked, and relaxed while enjoying the gardens and grounds on the longest nights of the year.  It was a well-attended event and the students had a tremendous time celebrating summer.
